Ksenia Sukhinova was the second Russian girl, who obtained the title of Miss World. The contest took place on the 13th of December in 2008 in South Africa, Johannesburg. Though Russian ladies are famous for their beauty, there was only one girl from Russia who took the first place prior to Ksenia’s victory. A year before her triumph in South Africa Ksenia Sukhinova became Miss Russia 2007, the following year won the title of Miss World Top Model and ten days later she was acknowledged the most beautiful girl on the planet.

Among the contestants there were 109 other beauties but preference was given to Sukhinova, a 21-year-old student from the Siberian Russian city.

She was born in Nizhnevartovsk and now lives in Tyumen, being a fifth-year student in Tyumen State Oil and Gas University. Ksenia studies to be an engineer and showed her serious attitude to becoming a highly-professional specialist. She even skipped Miss Universe competition, getting ready for the exams and at that time another girl - Vera Krasova - took her place. Ksenia’s teachers told reporters about good results she has at the University and her good grades though subjects she studies are rather complicated.
Ksenia Sukhinova has a fantastic figure. Being a tall blonde girl of 1, 78 m with blue eyes, she is a dream of any man. But not only is her appearance attractive for people who surround her. She is an interesting personality thanks to her diverse interests. Ksenia does her best to succeed in all spheres. In her free-time, she is fond of sports. Apart from it, she likes ballroom-dancing. She likes to read books and Bulgakov’s “Master and Margherita” is her favorite book.
